In the second quarter of 2024, the fast food app landscape saw varied performances across the board on the Android platform. Sensor Tower's latest data provides a glimpse into how these apps are resonating with users in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

McDonald's app downloads showed a steady increase over the quarter, starting at 1.37M and peaking at 1.84M by the end of June. Weekly active users fluctuated, hitting a high of 104.6K in late May.

Subway® experienced an initial surge in downloads, reaching 1.75M mid-May, but then saw a decline, with downloads dropping to 1.03M in early June before rebounding to 1.53M by the quarter's end.

For Espresso House, download numbers grew from 745K to a high of 1.23M in late June. The app's weekly active users saw a modest increase, starting at around 11.9K and ending the quarter with 11.3K.

Taco Bell Suomi had a relatively low download count, with a notable spike to 277 in early June, but otherwise remained under 100 for most weeks. Unfortunately, the data for weekly active users was not available.

Lastly, McDonald’s Deutschland showed minimal movement in downloads, hovering around the low tens but reaching 52 in late May. Weekly active users remained consistent, averaging just over 300 throughout the quarter.
